LSZH cables

CENSA has more than 40 years experience in projects that require halogen-free cables. We offer different alternatives depending on the specific needs of each client.
We work with a wide range of low smoke materials, free of halogens and flame retardants, which allow us to minimize the emission of toxic gases in the event of fire and reduce the effects of smoke on people and equipment, both indoors and in risk areas.
Depending on the requirements of each project, we choose the most appropriate materials, based on the knowledge accumulated by our technical team in over 40 years.

Bus/Ethernet cables

CENSA has extensive experience in the development of complex BUS / Ethernet cables, often combined with other types of control, power or optical fibre cables. We offer tailor-made solutions depending on the sector and the project.
Bus cables or data bus cables allow the transmission of data between devices within a system. All devices connect in series to a single shared communication channel, simplifying the connection of multiple devices and reducing the amount of wiring required.
Category or network Ethernet cables are cables used in all types of projects that require reliable data transmission.
These cables are classified into different categories according to their characteristics and transmission capacities. Some of the most common categories are:

Cat5: This is one of the oldest and most basic categories. It can support speeds up to 100 Mbps and is suitable for 10/100 Ethernet networks.

Cat5e: This is an improved version of Cat5, designed to deliver more consistent performance and reduce interference. It can support speeds of up to 1 Gbps and supports Gigabit ethernet networks.

Cat6: Offers higher performance and more bandwidth than Cat5e. It can support speeds up to 10 Gbps and is suitable for applications that require high performance, such as gigabit and 10 gigabit Ethernet networks.

Cat6a: This is an improved version of Cat6, with improved transmission capabilities and increased noise immunity. It can support speeds up to 10 Gbps at longer distances than Cat6.

Cat7: This category of cable offers superior performance in terms of bandwidth and noise cancellation. It can support speeds up to 10 Gbps and is suitable for applications requiring high speeds and interference resistance.

Cat8: This is the latest evolution in network cables, designed to offer extremely high transmission speeds, up to 40 Gbps, and operate at frequencies up to 2000 MHz.

 

High/low temperature

CENSA designs, develops and manufactures custom cables for extreme temperatures, both low and high, following the requirements demanded for each project.
Cables designed to withstand extreme temperatures are essential for data transmission, system control, power supply, and other critical purposes in various applications in harsh environments.
In industrial sectors where extreme temperatures occur, such as foundries, furnaces and chemical plants, custom-made cables are required to withstand such conditions. Fire resistant cable

Coaxial cables

Flexible cables

CENSA designs, develops and manufactures specific solutions with high flexibility, aimed at different sectors and applications.
Flexible cables are cables designed to be used in mobile applications and have a specific design and materials that allow them to resist bending and movement, without affecting the behavior of the internal conductors, or compromising the electrical performance of the cable assembly.
Technical coordination with the client, linked to our knowledge of materials, allows us to transform all project requirements (temperature, radius of curvature, LSZH,…) into customised flexible solutions.
In our laboratory, we continuously perform different bending and torsion tests on all types of cables, in the necessary cycles and conditions.

ETFE, FEP and PFA cables

CENSA has extensive experience in the design, development and manufacture of custom solutions with fluorinated materials:

These materials provide important advantages when developing custom cables:

Flexibility in variable temperatures: These materials retain their flexibility in a wide range of temperatures, from very cold to very high. Anti-torsion cables

CENSA has extensive experience in the design and development of different specific solutions to achieve anti-torsion reinforcement. These cables are suitable for applications that involve a lot of rotation or movement. CENSA has different families of cables with UL/CSA certification, which guarantee superior performance.

Hybrid cables

CENSA has extensive experience in the development of hybrid cables for different sectors.
These cables combine, under one cover, control, signal and/or power conductors with optical fibres, meeting the most demanding customer needs in terms of number of conductors, materials, screens (individual and/or as a whole), armors, reinforcements, etc.

Submersible pump winding

CENSA has been designing, developing and manufacturing wires and cables for the winding of submersible pumps for more than 30 years.
Our solutions have been specifically perfected to ensure the proper operation of submersible motor windings.
There are different options depending on each project´s need:
